In Loving Memory of Twin Lakes Maple...Maximus' Mom

I was fortunate enough to meet her the day I picked my Moose from the rest of his brothers. Funny thing was, Judi brought her & Rondy out so I could "Meet The Parents", and it was almost as if she knew I was taking her baby, and she was giving me her blessing. She laid her head on my shoulder, then gave me her paw. I was in tears.

As well, I was in tears when Judi & Woody called 2 weeks later to give me the bad news that she had passed.

When they realized (at 3am) that something (bloat) was wrong with Maple, they rushed her to her Vet. She was in sugery for several hours as a team of doctors tried desperately to save her.
